Ready for a return to Babel ?

On 27/11 – 20:15, the BIFFF teams up with L’Entrelà (Evere) again to bring back Rains Over Babel, one of the films from BIFFF 2025.

Directed by Gala del Sol, this striking fantasy-drama reimagines Dante’s Inferno inside a neon-lit Colombian nightclub that doubles as purgatory. In Babel, La Flaca — a gypsy Grim Reaper with an afro — presides over wagers made by souls desperate to stay alive. When the club owner’s son, Timbí, goes missing, a cast of misfits (including Uma, who knows hell all too well) must race against time, gamble their fate, and face their inner demons. 

Expect music, surreal visuals, queer drama, dark humour, and a narrative pulsing with life—even (or especially) beyond death. Bring friends, bring questions, bring your appetite for the extraordinary.
