BEING STEPHEN KING

Writing a short genre story in the ideal setting of the BIFFF, with the bonus of a ticket to attend a film after the writing workshop… that’s an offer you simply can’t refuse!
Impulsion invites you to come and write a short story based on simple and fun instructions. Every day of the festival, this exercise is linked to a film from our program.
Introducing characters based on detailed descriptions, writing based on an imposed setting, a news item, a pitch, or even producing the prequel to an assigned story… There are so many challenges that will inspire you… or not!

WHEN?

Saturday, April 4 at 7 p.m., writing a fictional story related to RED MASK, shown at 10:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 11 at 2 p.m., writing a fictional story related to SICKO, shown at 5:15 p.m.
Sunday, April 12 at 3 p.m., writing a fictional story related to PAST LIFE, shown at 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, April 16 at 2:30 p.m., writing a fictional story related to THE TURKISH COFFEE TABLE, shown at 6 p.m.

You will have the opportunity to submit your text for the BIFFF-Impulsion competition. Winners will receive a KAYAK Pass valid for the 2027 edition of the BIFFF!
