43rd Make Up Contest BIFFF 2026 – Call for Submissions

BIFFF Make-up Contest – 43th edition

Attention creative souls everywhere, amateur or experienced, this next part is for you! On Saturday, April 18, 2026, the BIFFF invites you to take part in its make-up contest in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Whatever your level, whether you’re just starting out, self-taught or in training, the main thing is to let your imagination run wild!

Two categories:

Without prostheses (3h) : No need for prostheses, your brushes and pigments suffice to create surprising looks.
With prostheses (FX) (3h) : For those who want to push the limits, explore special effects and create characters worthy of the greatest movies ! (Do I hear “Beetlejuice” ?)

Places are limited, so don’t delay in signing up! All levels are welcome, and we’re looking for original, creative projects! A base of make-up products is provided, but feel free to bring your own materials to distinguish yourself from the crowd !

Don’t feel like an artist ? No stress! Come and see the creations come to life before your very eyes – a real-time show you won’t want to miss !

The Programme:

10:00 AM: Welcome for participants
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Makeup Contest – Prosthetics Category
2:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Break
3:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Makeup Competition – Non-Prosthetics Category
6:00 PM: Jury deliberation
7:15 PM: Admission to the ceremony (in the main theater)
7:30 PM: Start of the closing ceremony and announcement of the winners (you are welcome to stay and watch the film for free)
