SISTER is a kidnapping thriller that makes good use of the confined space most of its story evolves in, turning it into the perfect backdrop for uncovering the hidden ties and truths between the two kidnappers and their victim. This remake of THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ALICE CREED (2009) keeps up the pace, thanks in part to strong performances. The fact that each of the characters has something to hide guarantees high tension till the end.
