Geppetto can no longer bear to see how depressed his grandson James is. He decides to give him one of his latest creations: a wooden puppet named Pinocchio. And this puppet not only works without batteries, but is actually alive! Pinocchio is even better than a puppy and becomes James’s best friend. After a while, he realizes there isn’t enough flesh on his wooden face to fully resemble little James. And of course, he’s not familiar with socially acceptable alternatives like a good nose job or cosmetic surgery. So Pinocchio decides to do it the old-fashioned way… without anesthesia.
