First Wave of Titles

Only 5 months after wrapping up our 40th edition we’re back with an appetizer of what is cooking in our kitchen for next April…

The international premiere of THE WRATH OF BECKY (Matt Angel / Suzanne Coote), in which a borderline teenage girl takes on a gang of patriotic misogynistic conspiracy nuts. They will not come out of the ordeal unharmed… nor unscalped.

IN MY MOTHER’S SKIN (Kenneth Dagatan), this year’s big Sundance hit starring our favorite kind of fairy: a cannibal one!

JURASSIC PUNK (Scott Leberecht), a documentary on an arrogant bastard – no, not James Cameron – to whom modern blockbusters owe absolutely everything.

And last but never least, the European premiere of FOUR’S A CROWD, or carpooling according to the mad, mad mind of the one and only… Alex de la Iglesia!!

And then we bid you a little bit more patience: the final program will be revealed on the 23rd of March!

Matt Angel & Suzanne Coote / 83′ / USA / 2023 / Cast : Seann William Scott, Courtney Gains, Lulu Wilson & Gabriella Piazza

Kenneth Dagatan / 97′ / Philippines / Singapore / Taiwan / 2023 / Cast : Beauty Gonalez, Felicity Kyle Napuli, James Mavie Estrella, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Angeli Bayani, Arnold Reyes & Ronnie lazaro

A pioneer in computer animation, his digital dinosaurs of JURASSIC PARK transformed Hollywood in 1993, but an appetite for anarchy and reckless disregard for authority may have cost him the recognition he deserved.

European Premiere

Julian is a fifty-year-old divorcee. After starting to use a car-sharing app to help with his financial problems, he meets Lorena, a young girl who frequently travels to Madrid. For the past few months, Lorena has had a permanent place in Julian’s car, and more recently, in his heart. Julian is determined to tell her how he feels on the next trip, but an error when choosing the remaining occupants of the car will find him lumbered with a very unsettling fourth passenger, whose presence will bring about a radical change in the course of events.
