Petty thief Max gets caught for the umpteenth time when the police arrest him for spraying graffiti. To avoid a prison sentence, he reluctantly agrees to a spell of community service, and becomes a janitor at the Green Meadows retirement home. It’s not really a difficult job. The residents smell a bit like mothballs, but they’re nice. A little strange at times, though. And then he’s told never to go up to the fourth floor. And what about those chilling nighttime cries echoing through the pipes. A loss of bladder control of epic proportions? Exploded false teeth? Max is curious.
