School day

Given the success of our two-day school program in 2025 on recycling and animal abuse (2,000 children over two days), we have decided to continue with our two-day program for elementary schools, which is in high demand (1,800 already registered). The program includes a film, activities, a lecture, and workshops.

-The first day, April 14, will be dedicated to Animal Abuse, or “how art can be used to teach children ages 6 to 12 to respect animals while creating artworks with powerful messages,” featuring a LECTURE by Help Animals and the Ixelles Police Inspectors: The Ixelles police inspector from the animal protection unit, along with Nadine from Help Animals, will discuss animal abuse and
how to recognize the telltale signs.

-The second day, April 16, will be dedicated to recycling, or “how art can be used to teach children ages 6 to 12 about recycling while having fun creating various artworks.”

We will welcome artist Julien Anciaux, alias Fullas, who will discuss his works, such as benches made from surfboards.

We will also be visited by a guide dog from the BCG association, which collects plastic bottle caps to fund guide dog training. All the schools have already prepared bags of bottle caps.

“Arrrgggghhhhhhh” seems to be the most fitting onomatopoeia to describe the feeling of a viewer who is taken aback and bewildered by Fullas’s creations.
Always frustrated by his inability to color within the lines, he decided to take up upcycling, transforming objects in his own unique way.
