Ippei Aoba is a conscientious police officer who spends his time working for the forensic squad. Oliver is a German shepherd who helps him sniff out the bad guys. It is worth noting that, in Ippei’s eyes (and his alone), Oliver is a dirty old man in a raggedy dog suit who often talks back to his owner. One day, Konishi, world famous in Japan for solving dozens of suspicious and mysterious disappearances, vanishes himself. Ippei and Oliver set out to investigate, stumbling from one strange situation into another bizarre encounter. They meet, for example, a man who runs a fish shop but hates fish.
