Jin Sung-Moon graduated from the Department of Film at the Korea National University of Arts in 2019. His short film HELLO won the Sonje Award in the Korean Short Competition at the 24th Busan International Film Festival and was screened at several festivals including the Seoul Independent Film Festival, the Women’s Human Rights Film Festival, and the Gwangju Independent Film Festival. He previously worked as an assistant director on ILLANG: THE WOLF BRIGADE and directed the short film BREAKING THE WAVE. SISTER marks his feature film debut.
