After being nominated for Best Unproduced Screenplay at the 2008 Inside Film Awards, Sam’s 2010 feature film RED LIGHT REVOLUTION won the People’s Choice Award at the Singapore International Film Festival. His next feature, KING OF PEKING, world premiered at Tribeca and screened at numerous festivals. Released worldwide on Netflix to strong reviews, its screenplay was invited to the Oscars permanent library collection. Sam recently wrote and directed YESTERDAY ISLAND, which will have its Belgian premiere at the BIFFF.
