It’s the early 80s, the heyday of B-to-Z slashers that are raking in the cash. Michael, the big boss of a porn film crew, smells money and suggests that they let themselves get hacked to pieces in a slasher film he wrote himself. The plot: students on spring break at a summer camp fall prey to a bloodthirsty and vengeful mysterious beekeeper. It’s no Shakespeare and there’s no penetration to be found in the first five minutes, but there are lines to be memorized. In other words, the actors will discover some new functions for their mouth muscles. Alex Montilla, a huge fan of low-budget B-movies, serves up a tailor-made tribute, filmed in the same house where THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE was shot.
