Kenichi Ugana is a film director and scriptwriter. His fantastical and punk style has earned him a reputation at film festivals around the world. One of his latest films, THE GESUIDOUZ, was screened at (among others) the Toronto International Film Festival and the Sitges Film Festival. It won the Best Feature Film Award at the LIFFF, as well as the Audience Award at the Montreal Festival du Nouveau Cinéma. Ugana also wrote and directed INCOMPLETE CHAIRS. Its soundtrack was composed by Pornographie Exclusive, longtime BIFFF regulars.
