Omar Sharif Jr

Omar Sharif Jr. began acting in 2007 when he was offered a role in an Egyptian hit series. Sharif starred in two Arabic language films – most notably HASSAN WA MORCUS with his grandfather of the same name. In 2015, Omar starred opposite Eric Bana and Rooney Mara in THE SECRET SCRIPTURE. In 2016, they collaborated again in 11TH HOUR, with Salma Hayek, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Omar is the first public personality to come out as openly gay in the Arab World and is a former National Spokesperson for GLAAD.
