European Short Films Melies Competition
As has been the case for quite some time now, the BIFFF presents its prestigious Méliès d’Argent yearly award to the best European short film. The selection is pretty eclectic in terms of genres, ideas and countries. You’ll go from the Irish starvation in BAINNE (directed by Jack Reynor, one of MIDSOMMAR’s actors who invited co-star Will Poulter to take on the main role in this short), to the strange world of Edgar Allan Poe in ROOD and zombies in THE LITTLE ONE (whose main character is portrayed by Omni Tommila, hero of our BIFFF closing movie 2015: BIG GAME). You got it: a rollercoaster ride full of emotions and thrills!
