1989, in a godforsaken hole in New Mexico. Lou manages a local gym owned by her father, Lou Sr., much like anything else in town. As a notorious crime boss, he likes to stay on top of the game by keeping his mind sharp and his fingers trigger-happy, which he trains at the shooting range – that he owns, of course. Bodies keep piling up in his personal ditch. Among them, probably also Lou’s mother. One night a stranger called Jackie arrives in town.
