And the competition up there is lethal… We were already wowed by DETENTION (BIFFF 2020), but here John Hsu exceeds all our expectations. Everything we love about modern horror cinema balled up in one glorious, wildly original, terribly witty rollercoaster that is accessible to all. This is the movie that you take your friend, who supposedly “doesn’t like horror flicks”, to at the BIFFF. A strong contender for our Audience Award? You betcha!
