Lucile Hadžihalilović

After studying art history and film, Lucile Hadzihalilovic founded Les Cinémas de la Zone in the early 1990s with Gaspar Noé, with whom she has collaborated several times. In 1996, she wrote, directed and produced LA BOUCHE DE JEAN-PIERRE, which was selected for Un Certain Regard. In 2004, her feature film INNOCENCE won many awards, including Best First Feature at the San Sebastian Film Festival. EVOLUTION, from 2015, won the Special Jury Prize and Best Photography Award at the San Sebastian Festival. EARWIG (2022) was awarded the Special Jury Prize at the San Sebastian Festival. And in 2025, her 4th feature film, THE ICE TOWER, received a Silver Bear for Outstanding Artistic Contribution at the Berlin Film Festival.
