Lorcan Finnegan

Lorcan Finnegan began his career in London, joining Charlie Brooker’s production company Zeppotron, which created television series such as BLACK MIRROR, where he worked as a designer, editor and then director. He then returned to his native Ireland and set up his own company, Lovely Production in Dublin, which enabled him to write and direct short films. His move to feature films came in 2016 with WITHOUT NAME. Since then, he has gone on to direct VIVARIUM (2019), a Belgian co-production partly shot in Belgium and presented at Cannes, THE NOCEBO EFFECT (2022) and THE SURFER (2024), which he is presenting at the BIFFF this year.
