Kyu-dong Min

Although he started out studying economics, Min soon turned to directing at the Korean Academy of Cinematographic Arts. There he met Kim Tae-Young, with whom he made several short films, including SEVENTEEN (1997) and PALE BLUE DOT (1998). A year later, the two created MEMENTO MORI, their first feature film. Writer, director and producer, he is coming to the BIFFF to present THE OLD WOMAN WITH THE KNIFE. The film is adapted from the novel of the same name, and was recently shown at the Berlin festival.
