Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia

This Spanish director started his career making short films: 913 in 2004 and LA CASA DEL LAGO in 2011. He is best known for his critically acclaimed film THE PLATFORM (2019). This earned him a sequel: THE PLATFORM 2, released in 2024, is available on the Netflix streaming platform. More recently, he has directed RICH FLU, which will be screened at this year’s BIFFF. He is delighted to be attending the festival for the first time this year.
