Ezra Tsegaye

Ezra Tsegaye became passionate about movies and illustrations at a young age. Over the years, his diverse interests brought him to all the important stations of the film scene, to which he contributed his wide range of skills and experience: He worked as a storyboarder and illustrator for THE INTERNATIONAL (Tom Tykwer), HINDENBURG (Philipp Kadelbach) and TATORT and worked as a director for various commercial productions. He also creates animations for television e.g. for ZDF, 3Sat, Arte. In 2006, his animated film DER TURMSPRINGER received the rating “wertvoll” (valuable) from the Wiesbaden Film Rating Board. SKIN CREEPERS is the feature film directorial debut of Ezra Tsegaye, after he already realized numerous award-winning short films such as HOUSE OF FEAR, NIGHT TALE or CASTING OF DEATH.
