David Marques

Spanish screenwriter and director. He’s the author of the multi-award-winning triptych CUALQUIERA, AISLADOS and DESECHOS. Later on, he directed for the first time the screenplay for another screenwriter, EN FUERA DE JUEGO, in co-production with Argentina. In his fifth feature, DIOSES Y PERROS, he moved into a more intimate genre, then returned to comedy with EL CLUB DEL PARO and TEMPORADA BAJA. He wrote the screenplay for the award-winning hit CAMPEONES, and co-wrote CAMPEONEX, Spain’s box-office king in 2023. He has also directed series such as DIARIOS DE LA CUARENTENA, RELATOS CONFINADOS and RUTAS BIZARRAS, as well as plays such as ESPACIO and AISLADOS.
