Bum-Wook Hur

Hur Bum-Wook is a Korean director, born in Seoul in 1983. He discovered animation thanks to ONF short films and, in 2010, was accepted in KAFA, which enabled him to make his first short film, CITY OF GOOD PEOPLE (2011). In 2014, he created his first animated feature film ON THE WHITE PLANET, which won him the grand prize at the Holland Animation Film Festival 2015. After GALAPAGOS (2019), he returns to the BIFFF with PIG THAT SURVIVED FOOT-AND-MOUTH DISEASE. This film received its world premiere at the Annecy International Animation Festival in the Midnight Specials category.
