Arto Halonen

A self-taught filmmaker, he has been writing and directing since 1983. TV films (HYVITYS (2008)), short films (LEGENDA (2005)), documentaries (SHADOW OF THE HOLY BOOK (2007)), adaptations of plays – he knows how to do it all. He is coming to the BIFFF from his native Finland to present his latest feature, AFTER US, THE FLOOD. It’s a movie about time travel, climate change and an apocalyptic future…
