Alexandre Bustillo & Julien Maury

Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo are acclaimed figures in French filmmaking, known for their affinity for horror and fantasy genres. Julien graduated from the Ecole Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovisuelle in Paris, while Alexandre earned a master’s degree from the University of Saint-Denis. Their collaboration began in 2005, leading to their first feature film, INSIDE in 2006, renowned for its terrifying narrative. Subsequent works like LIVID (2011) and AMONG THE LIVING (2014) showcased their versatility in storytelling. Their international debut came with LEATHERFACE in 2017, a prequel to THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE. Their latest project, THE SOUL EATER, adapts a novel and ventures into the dark thriller genre, featuring a stellar cast including Virginie Ledoyen and Paul Hamy.
